That is a largely accurate analysis. The US is basically a cowardly failed state that has lost every war it has started since 1945 against small and mostly defenceless nations. The most glaring recent example was the humiliating midnight flight from Kabul leaving behind $89 billion in weapons and munitions. But killing civilians just for spite till the last minute.
US like its Zionist savage masters just bombs civilians indiscriminately as human life does not matter in the violent US dehumanized banana republic, where mass shootings are a daily occurrence.
Iran is a large mountainous landmass of 1.64 million sq kms with a population of close to 90 million and has prepared for asymmetrical warfare for better part of half a century. Iran also has a hyper nationalistic population that has never been colonized and tends to rally around the flag when threatened by outsiders. Crazy Saddam and his sponsors found that out the hard way.
US can try to bomb Iran, but the whole region will go up in flames, starting with the Persian Gulf pimpdoms which host US bases. One missile fired at Dubai would clear out the place faster than rats fleeing when they see a cat. Invading Iran is simply out of question as the US casualty averse cowards and NATO queers will hardly field millions of soldiers to fight Iran, when they are stretched from Ukraine to Taiwan. Iran has shown great restraint so far but if Zionist crimes in Palestine continue that may change. US is basically a paper tiger as the Chinese and Vietnamese rightly coined that term half a century when the Vietnamese defeated the US warmongers. Bombing civilians and committing war crimes is one thing, fighting someone who can hit back is another.
