The basis of author's point of view is flawed for it wrongly believes that ISI used insurgency to change the status quo in Kashmir. The assistance to militants in Kashmir has been grossly exaggerated by Indian side, which is understandable because more than often they are unaware of the ground realities in Pakistan. While local populace standing in overwhelming numbers against Indian forces would have been something Pakistan would have loved but truth remains that Pakistan did not do enough to make it possible. While random people can believe that rag tag militias can change status quo, Pakistan does understand that military aspect of this warfare and how much is required to change the status quo.

Lastly, ISI/Pakistan has not supplied any meaningful equipment to militants for large scale operations against Indian army, indicating that Pakistan wasn't banking on handful of militants to change the status quo.

As of now more indian troops are dying of suicide and weather then militancy

Its obvious that pakistani ISI is manipulating the weather and drugging indian troops into suicide

Funny how this author paints a rosy picture when indian soldiers are dying or killing themselves on a daily basis in the valley. Failure to control a ragtag group of freedom fighters, even after spending 10s of billions $ and deploying almost a million soldiers, is painted as "India's Moment of Inertia" LOL.

This is not bollywood. This is a real life insurgency where the next generation of Kashmiris are more than ever anti-india. Communal fire has spread to mainland india, all thanks to BJP, and author thinks Pakistan lost the plot.

Its not over till its over. The only difference now is that you pajeets are over confident and over reactive--which is a monumental shift from the international image you had of calm, peace-loving-can't-do-anything-wrong-india of 90s and 2000s. So he belongs to same BSF who were once protesting to Pakistan for killing it's soldiers.
He should spend his time and efforts in telling his men that they are supposed to fight back instead of crying.

This is irony. The picture shows disconnect between rulers and the people. Rulers of Muslim majority region aren't supposed to indulge in this kind of activity. Did Kashmir and the Kashmiris have a right ruler to decide their fate?

If India keeps Kashmir on these lines it won't sit well and will create problems. And India won't be able to decide on behalf of Muslims.
