So I will have a problem streaming and/or downloading **** in India? That put dampers on my plans to visit India...

IF you are Pakistani then there is no problem as Internet speed is faster in India.

Yeah internet is quite slow in India compared to east Asian countries like Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China, Singapore etc whose telecom sector has taken big strides in development. Also, the concept of unlimited Mbps is missing in India; as in, there is a download cap per month like 4 Mbps download speed upto 30 GB for airtel. Once you exhaust that capacity, it reduced to 512 Kbps, unlike Japan or Korea where you have speeds like 30 Mbps and beyond no matter how much you download or surf.
