What's new

Intermittent CFVs by Indian Army continue along LOC, being befittingly responded: DG ISPR

. .
Here we go again. I wanted peace in my life time. Sadly won't happen.

. . . . .

Uri and Pulwama dramas are conducted by India to stop Pakistan retaliatory fire on Indian Army positions where the body count increases when Pakistani soldiers fire. India being bigger militarily cannot digest the fact that its getting thrashed by a smaller Pakistani Army. Indian Military fires 10-12 heavy weapons of all sorts and expect no retaliation, moments later Pakistan Army starts firing with same intensity. Then the firing continues for a few hours.

Previously, India expected Pakistan to expend ammunition freely on LOC which will then result in Pakistan conserving ammunition. POF has solidly solved this problem. India tried a war of attrition next - target and kill pakistan soldiers; Pakistani military reduced number of soldiers on every post and created more posts as per mountain warfare logic. Indian side always had more soldiers which meant more targets for Pakistani military.
Then India brought AAA guns and artillery for direct and indirect fire. Pakistan brought in ATGM with thousands of rounds to fire. Finally India started targeting Pakistani civilian structures; Pakistani military retaliated by hitting Indian posts with double the intensity since IOK civlilian infrastructure are not considered targets.

Now Indian situation on LOC be like - Mein Kithay jaawaan, manji kithay dhaawaan.

Thank you for your input.

I have been on LOC, have course mates deployed on LOC, have friends deployed on LOC, have family members posted on LOC.

You can search for more news and reports on media - i prefer up front and personal.

what has india achieved with this mindless exchange of fire on Loc ? ( expending ammo aside )

what tactical ( let alone strategic) objective has been fulfilled ?

any fire from your side is more than adequately responded from pak side ?

The same question is being asked to Indian govt/military officials on Indian Media...all answer the same....which is quite stupid reply......

" we see thousands and thousands terrorists (Pakistanis, Afghans and Arabs) are lined up on LoC waiting for the moment to infiltrate into IoK and start terrorism in the name of local mujahidein or freedom fighters...so we regularly check their movement"
