We shall use 2013 estimates as they are the latest and not too far off the truth - BD always grows at 6% a year and India's growth is recorded every 3 months so we already have 6 months of growth figures on Indian economy for 2013/2014.

IMF says BD is at 900(1995 base year) and India is at 1400(2005 base year).

Now BD would be over 1000 with the 2005 base year and we see that BD is not that far off India GDP/capita.

btw, Where do you think World Bank and IMF get GDP numbers from? It comes from the central governments of the countries and so eventually all these institutions will show exactly what the BD government says.
