This guy has a really good voice. Are you sure it isn't a recording? Hopefully he is free soon.
Recitation !
Daily, thousands of devotees flock for Taraweeh prayers.
They listen to Imam read quran, followed by proof listeners who ensure the Imams do not make any verbal mistake while reciting God's word.
Prayer ends;
People get back to what they were; no change.
Maybe I expect too much of a magic from God's words; Maybe God didn't promise magic.
Who told you something was supposed to change? Or that God promised magic? You are confused about Allah(SWT)'s attributes. Try to understand God more.

Suffice you didn't get 1% of what I had in mind.
How much do you recite every day ? I am sure it must be a lot !
You didn't get what he was referring to. @salman108 you are right what is wrong with us.

Apologize, I misunderstood you. What were you trying to imply?
What is it exactly?
I am just a bitter old man.
I will say it one more time
Reem Islam has her work cut out for her; we need more scholars like her.,
I hope one day her and scholars like her design and implement educational reforms.
Dear
millions of men listen to thousands of verses every day;
they listen to God's true word.
Some understand the language ( arabs) some don't even understand the language ( non arabs)
yet they all listen.
No difference; the words don't go further than the ears; the moment traveeh finishes every one turns back to the same life as before.
Do we expect God's words to perform magic on us ? and turn us into saints ?
God never promised Magic; God wants hard work and deep thought.
@Arabian Legend did you read up on Ghazali Vs Rushd debate ?

With the current mess we might need a period of 100 years ahead.

We as Muslims should now grow beyond the usual expectations; we have to stop deceiving our selves and accept our criminal past.
Listening to Quran and Reciting Quran is one thing.
Living Quran was last observed 1400 + years ago.
