Pretty impressive job, I believe this is suitable for IJT and later for any HALE UAV.

We have spent quite a large sum of money to import a Russian Al55 engine and procure licence built engine from.HAL. 1000 of them. With payment for 250 already made. For IJT.
But
I do hope we use the desi one but then this would go waste.
Even thouh its powerfull,Based on SFC value I think it's less fuel efficient than that of the engine used in tomahawk, that may be the reason for less range compared to tomahawk. I may be wrong also. No, it is too big, heavy and too powerful to be used in any cruise missile. Instead Manak mini turbofan will be used in Nirbhay - Manik is an expendable 450 Kgf thrust class Gas Turbine engine. Small turbofan prototypes are performing well. Tested at full throttle. Flight trials 1.5 years away. It has a thrust of 3.73 kN.
The engine that will power Nirbhay cruise missile & other stuff in future: India's Manak mini turbofan.
err then we can name it as flying dragon .@#hydra# sure but then cruise missile will be of a size of an adult African elephant
requires constant & consistent r&d to fine tune technology. Its a good thing we do it our selves and build a good technical pool of scientists. Not a bad development at all.. Welcome move I guess.. We intended to develop an engine for combat aircraft but we ended up with an indigenous engine for trainer aircrafts.. Why not.. ?
US global hawk & tritone spy drones are using similar powerplants, so yeas we can use this in our future UAVs.Good development but can it be used in HALE vehicles.... Big a$$ HALE vehicles?
yes generally engines KN is the wet thrust figures. Dry thrust maybe 60 to 70% of wet thrust. In this case it should be 15 to 18 KN.HAL should focus on sub 60 KN engine while GTRE should take up 60 kN+
Guys.. Does HAL 25 Kn engine have afterburner for wet thrust??
Global hawk uses Rolls-Royce AE 3007 with 35KnUS global hawk & tritone spy drones are using similar powerplants, so yeas we can use this in our future UAVs.
As per the report if we want HTFE can be fine tuned to 40+ KN thrust in future.Global hawk uses Rolls-Royce AE 3007 with 35Kn
HAL doesn't have research facility to Design or develop Jet engines.. It should be done by GTRE & ADA..HAL should focus on sub 60 KN engine while GTRE should take up 60 kN+

Is it possible to use this in our cruise missiles,I mean nirbhay.
