AFAIK STBF isn't being constructed beacuse of Vikramditya delays but to not only train pilots who will fly off ACCs of IN but also to devlop the N-LCA for carrier landings and take-offs. This stuff can't be done at sea on the actual ACC- that would be nuts! STBF will be completed and fill a very much needed gap/

Whats the CBG for Vikramaditya?? Any Info?

From what I've heard the CBG will consist of 7-9 ships excluding the ACC itslef- 3 destroyers (P-15 later down the road) 3 frigates (mix of Shivlaik and Talwar) 1-2 SSK and then 1-2 Support ships like the Deepak Class fleet tankers.

It's actually 2 destoyers and 4 frigates now.....
One of the destroyer is in anti air role and other is in anti- submarine role......the frigates are for surface protection......
