Honestly, there are way fewer hungry and oppressed people in Iran than in your filth of a country where South Asians are treated like slaves in the 21st century and sometimes even 10 people have to live in a 50 meter squared flat with delayed payments and their passports withheld from them. Even the police bully them. You live in such a place. Dubai is internationally known as a slave hub and it's loathed by people. Everybody knew that on before hand and I have read that article they mentioned nothing anybody didn't know on before hand if you were reading here.. Iran's central bank implements currency controls to keep the exchange rate stable.. As a result of this, neither international markets nor 99% of citizens living in Iran can reach these exchange rates, If you are not an importer with good relations with the government. If you use a multiplier that has no real economy equivalent, your results will not be very realistic either. PPP data on Iran and product calculations based on the purchasing power of the local currency give more accurate results.

No, but why should they? After all, not every Iranian citizen is responsible for importing or exporting. Right? Is it different in Turkey? Is every Turkish citizen an importer/exporter?
Imports are subsidized by the central bank, using a stable exchange rate. Exports also are not affected much by the exchange rate. Let's say that the Iranian currency devalues further. Do you think Iranian exporters start to sell their products cheaper than before? No. Our exports are valued in USD abroad, not IRR. So, our exports are nearly immune to currency fluctuations.
The only remaining thing left is the issue of local services and goods. But then again, Iran has been going through a period of high inflation where the prices of goods and services, as well as salaries, have increased enormously in recent years. So, it's very hard to determine the actual effect of currency fluctuations on nominal GDP.

I absolutely agree with you that the PPP GDP is a much better indicator. I am personally against the concept of nominal GDP for reasons mentioned above. It makes little sense for countries dealing with currency fluctuations. Consider this year's currency crisis in Turkey, for example. The Turkish Lira has undergone 50% devaluation in 2021. Does that mean that the Turkish economy has been cut in half? It doesn't make sense. Does it? Nevertheless, Iran's PPP GDP stands at $1.1 trillion dollars.
