There is no doubting HAL's ability to produce LCA at a low rate but do they have the ability to produce 200 defect free LCAs in four years at the rate of 1 aircraft a week? At one point India was looking to outsource LCA production.

Even IAF don't want HAL to produce 1 aircraft a week. 16-20 aircrafts in a year will do for IAF. And till now HAL has already built 13-14 LCA, and all are defect free. No accidents with over 2200 flights.

My cousin told me same thing about LCA... with delays LCA is unable to catch up the requirements of IAF...

Or the Bribe was unable to catch IAF??? We all know how General son drive BMW and Audis... And how there kids manage Bankok-Pataya prostitution trips...
