I have mentioned it before, between 1900-1300BC lots of the cities in Indus valley were abandoned 80-92% (discovered Pakistani archaeologist Muhammad Rafiq Mughal) at the same time there increase in number of settlements in by 3-4 fold in East Punjab, Haryana and Western UP. Go through the map.

btw bro .. is it possible that tributaries that formed sarswati merged into indus or Yamuna from upstream when the tectonic plates moved further into the himalayas?
