Induction of CM-400 AKG Confirmed

One factor during the ops would have been cost of operating and cost of procurement . .

Keeping costs down is one of reasons that we won that war while USSR and USA did not under same circumstances..they simply spent too much. We didn't

But now with widespread military ops are over I agree.that MRAPs shud be deployed in considerable numbers

The problem was not the cost, there were millions being spent on unnecessary things back in the time, and still are. No amount of money is above a soldiers' life. It's always been a controversy why we couldn't use anything better than the 4x4 Hiluxes. If you cannot provide suitable equipment for an operation, you have failed your soldiers, bringing in cost on such a minor thing is illogical. And btw, these Honda Civics and Land Cruisers IIs have been purchased every year. I am sure we could have spent some money or even requested Humvees from the US.

Military humvee costs around half a million usd and guzzles fuel like any thing. . And will blow up as easily as a hilux. .

Its bullet proof but so are hilux used in ops. .

Mrap will cost multiple of million dollars ..

Loosing one would be like loosing 20 or 30 hiluxes but may keep the casuality figure down... It has mobility issues in mountains due to its weight

It was not suitable for wide spread military ops... But shud b made available now in consolidating phase.

.
un realistic load...the jet will be fuel stressed in this profile
May be for such flight,it can be refuled shortly after takeoff as takeoff requires lot of fuel.
the LCA was deemed useless for being too short on fuel and MK1A is increasing its fuel by 20%
JFT is also short legged, that's why is always seen carrying three drop tanks.Out of almost those 2400 ltr,1200 is used to overcome drag caused by those tanks.
may be the dorsal spine can be made in block 3 which can free up fuel space otherwise
Nothing of that sort,i purposed moving land gears into Wings and using that space for fuel but @messiach told me that it would change flight envelope and would require lot of testing.
So,a fat spine like that on Mig-21 bison is our only resort.

None of hilux or l200 in use is bullet proof.

Several have been updated

Even Toyota corolla can be made bullet proof

Negative. All the 4x4s used by the Army in Ops from 2003 to 2014 didn't even have basic ballistic protection, they were just coloured green, that's it. You're ill-informed. Secondly, if you think a Humvee will blow up as easily as a Hilux, our discussion is over.

Negative. .. Some are ...

And negative humvee has zero mine or rocket protection..

Positive . . This discussion is over

So years ago SIPRI reported Pakistan bought 60 cm400akg.
Now MODP says 50 bought.
So the total is 60+50?

I would think not, the cost and its role doesn't justify 110 missiles for a budget our size.

Btw, does anyone know what sort of sources do SIPRI use, they seem to have info before it is openly available.

Had they decided in 2014 about changes for fuel it would have been acheived by 2020

It is now a very big problem since its now BVR & EW era and you need HPs for jammers and other EW stuff.
grpien C, LCA were unsucessful in this era for the same reason and both of their manufacturer have realized this..
