I along with any other average American can access CGTN, Xinhua, and other english Chinese media all the time. I do not need a VPN to access these sites. My internet speed does not slow down suddenly when I'm on these sites.

However you can't do the same.

Why can't an average Chinese access these listed banned sites China and think for himself or herself whether it is good or bad ?

Why does the Chinese government thinks an average Chinese citizen cannot sift through the news to decide for themselves what is right, what is wrong ,what is real, or what is fake ?

In Bangladesh I cannot access PDF site. It is blocked along with Pornography sites. Anyone who wants to access PDF or **** site has to use a VPN.

Of cos media needs to be control. Why ISIS media and extreme website needs to be ban if you really think most of the people able to exercise their critical thinking?

Bangladesh is correct to ban PDF if the government believe it is feeding wrong Info or spread extreme view.
