Muslims have been residing in India since centuries and they have never been denied any rights, they have touched the highest ceilings in their professions, Azim Premji, Abdul Kalam, ShahRukh, Aamir, etc etc, there are million of examples. We have muslims in Army, Police forces, courts and they are an integral part of our society. Its what we call secularism. Go read up something on it.

East Pakistan and West Pakistan were made from Muslim majority, that is something I agreed on, but what I said is that India is not based on Hindu majority approach. India is a secular country and we all are equal to each other.

Same thing happens in Balochistan and certain other parts of Pakistan. In all parts of the world, small groups of people want something which is against the constitution of their country. Important issue is whether Kashmir automatically belongs to Pakistan or whether it belongs to India or whether it should be given independence. Different groups in Kashmir want different things as set out before. As to whom the majority group is can be anybody's guess. Remove the insurgency, bring peace to Kashmir, return the original people of Kashmir and conduct a plebiscite and Bob's your uncle. Until then the status quo has to remain since the insurgency will never end

Please go ahead and devote your life for the liberation of Kashmir. Please go ahead and create more of LeTs. I am sure Pakistan will see its dreams come true but the time frame may be difficult to judge.

Of course as you can see there will defintely more reactions from the world and that means these LeTs turing unto the state itself. The technology is getting better and better and there will be hardly any place to hide within a few years. This is the other story you would not like to accept. But then this is the reality and it bites. It would be a miracle if you can retain the status as of now.

Three points on Kashmir :

1. India went to Kashmir only after the Instrument of accession was signed. That was precipitated by Pakistan

2. India has more muslim population than Pakistan. That way India also has rights over Kashmir. Pakistan has already more that 50% of the teritory, including the part gifted to China.

3. What is the objective of this ? altering the boundary is impossible in present context. Thought the main objective should be well being of the people of Kashmir. Are you sure Pakistan is supporting India to achieve this ? If no then who is enemy of Kashmir ?

I am sure you will not say that kafir hindus will annihilate all muslims in Kashmir !!!

thats because pakistani muslims are not peaceful towards indian muslims. pakistani muslims use indian muslims as weapon against their own country for one reason. and that is water. when Kashmir become independent or a part of pak, you will get water security.this is the only reason for pak intrest in kashmir. brotherhood,etc are nothing more than a cover. if ther is real botherhood for indian muslims, you people should have raised your voice for entire muslims in India... Give me a link where muslims have been massacred by the Govt of India. Muslims were never massacred. No muslim has ever died because he was a muslim.

Sikhs have been killed, muslims have been killed, hindus and christians have been killed but not by India, just other muslims, hindus and sikhs.

are you sure everyone will be allowed to vote? and that everyone will be free to select the sides?

What if the extremists terrorize and instill fear in the residents and force them to vote otherwise?

We have legal right to Kashmir and we won't allow a vote just because our neighbor claims to own that land.

Why don't you start a poll in Balochistan and tribal areas? Because they are integral parts of Pakistan no matter how much unrest is there. Its yours and a poll would be a slap on the face of Pakistan if it does that. Same is the case with India.

Kashmir is India's part and will remain so.
