What's new

India's so-called 'Ally' Russia is now jointly building sophisticated weapons with China

I was giving a example just because you are a arms exporter doesn't mean u won't import

Irony half the ppl here use poverty reports in India more than 2 decades ago.

More importantly. Unless u are claiming Chinese military grew by 3000% its impossible for 60+% of your military arsenal to be replaced in just a decade

Even until now Indian is still in poverty.

China mililtary indeed grew by 3000% and you just lived in denial. Do you why even sougraped western will called " China speed "?

There is a reason why most in the world like to compare China as hare and India as tortoise?

More importantly. Unless u are claiming Chinese military grew by 3000% its impossible for 60+% of your military arsenal to be replaced in just a decade
then prove us that 60+% is russian made, and also that figures fits your armed service to expamles fighter jets, tanks, artillery, howitzer, MRLS and list go on @Zen0 :enjoy:

Not an issue for India.
As long as Russia does not sell offensive weapons to Pakistan like fighter jets, Tanks, frigates etc, India is happy.
India is moving in the US camp and Russia in the China camp. Where do u think Pakistan sits?
Additionally unlike India Pakistan is almost self sufficient on most basic military needs.

He is smart, he will used a 2005 report to try talk in 2018 context to prove he is such a genius
they think they built almost all weapons for their armed service but actually they don't, they import all thing from all over the world, labelled it with their traditional names, show to world that this product build by them self like sordfish radar which is the version of green pine and Uttam which is israeli 2052 , MMA which is israeli 2032 @Beast sir:lol::enjoy:

I see many fields that China and Russia can cooperate:

1-join research: go to uncharted territory to develop spaceship such as x-37
2-technological exchange: some people suggested to trade 055 with Russia advance Russian attack nuclear submarine, exchange space electronic technology for Russian rocket engine...of course idea remain as idea unless both side take these seriously...but we don't rule out these possibility
3-Join production: build aircraft carriers...to expensive to shoulder the burden alone.

When China and Russia decide to cooperate on research and weapon development, the best mechanism is Franco-Germany type of military cooperation, split the share and split the burden, building trust and be equal partner.

perhaps the book opened behind the doors has been opened publically , nothing new .

What I'm interested in is what kind of drone this is, and more precisely, why are the Chinese interested in this particular variant when they've developed over MRL-launched UAVs for artillery spotting and the like. Seeing that the Chinese are leaps and bounds ahead of the Russians in both the civilian and military UAV sector, one must wonder if this project has more of a business value than a military one.

Till 2005 60% of Chinese equipment were Russian

Do you have a source to back that up?

Russia overall still has better tech than China does, but it's barely noticeable at this point.

Russia is 100% the junior partner. They have desperate monetary needs.

Even until now Indian is still in poverty.

China is still one of the poorest countries in the world , just because your country is 4x richer than India doesn't make you magical developed country without poverty

By gdp per capita you are 55% below the world average

China mililtary indeed grew by 3000%

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I'm saving this comment
Ultra power China military grew 3000% every year for 12 years lol
There is a reason why most in the world like to compare China as hare and India as tortoise?

Because the tortoise wins at the end?

Your communist teachers didn't read u much storybooks in kindergarten did they?

We shall directly sell Drones to Russia instead of sharing technology with them, by doing so we will create a competitor.
