India’s Quest for American Avenger Drones

They will say no, just like the Rafale deal this one will also die.

Then we will just continue to produce our own and buy Chinese ones at the same time. Besides, drones aren't really that useful in A2A combat.
and what are you making is that good enof cause your main enemy has one of the best 4.5 gen fighters or are in deals to get those as he does not have "money problem"or for that matter "militarry & nuce tech sanctions" as for China well China first gonna fullfill its orders like any other nation and then going to go for export ... as they say "never put all your eggs in a single basket " .... cheers mate :coffee:

Training is what counts, not equipment. Iraq was almost destroyed by the Iranians that had almost no Air Force and had a mostly under aged military that was ill equipped, but the b@stards were far better trained than Saddam's army and that's what let them win.

So you don't even know the the role of different aircrafts yet you are claiming that its a waste of money like a proper fanboy.

I know the role, but I don't care. It's a waste of money. India wanted 126 multi role fighters originally, they should have gone with something from Russia, or relied on the Tejas.

We need two things from General Atomics, Avenger and Blitzer railgun. It will neutralize Pakistan's tactical neuclear weapons.

well you are very serouslly mistaken about superiorty of your training and i say its good that you understimate owrs :sarcastic:

as for iran iraaq war well dude its almost 30 decades since then i and no matter how great is a pilot he cant defete a single 90 degrees Hiogh off bore Sight missile like Paython5 manouvering at 30G speeding/locked on it ... got it :azn:

The IAF has the highest crash rate among Air Forces in the world, what was that about training?

Also, in 1965, India has over 700 fighter jets, where as Pakistan had less than 300. Not only that, but at that time, India also had more advanced fighters. Do you remember how that went for the IAF? ;)

They will say no.
And how are you so sure? Are you an insider from the White House? :cuckoo:

And are you dumb or acting dumb? 90% crashes are due to technical faults, not lack of training. I presume you do know that the MiG-21s and MiG-27s are more than half a century old and long past their prime and life cycle which is 30 years? Even a top gun can do squat in a flame-out.

so you still living in past :haha:

well its 2016 not 1965 its more than 50 years wake up :sarcastic:

thing is IAF has problems of crashes even you and your all weather friends too have crash problems or for that matter even your so called "friends not masters" but having said that does it means we should stop buying new stuff when we have both need and money to "buy them " without worrying too much about things like "soft loans and war remmitences" :D

I was using an example. And again, in 1965 things were more in India's favour then they are now.

Also, the IAF still has the highest crash rate in the world. Nobody else even comes close.

so what if we have highest crash ratio we also happen to have one of the largest number /variety of diffrent planes from USA , UK , France and russia in our Air forceand there are bound to be spare parts issues and maintainence issues and we are having all these planes cause we can afford them
so instead of burning about your enemies crash rates you should be more worried about how to make your air force better ...

In 1965 India place half of its airplane in the Eastern zone to prevent Chinese intervention, that's makes even for both sides. And what advanced fighters jet -- PAF had Supersonic US planes with Sidewinger, and IAF didn't have any a2a missile at that time. When taling about Sabre why don't you tell that it was armed with 6 30mm cannon, while Sabre Slayer Gnat had 2 20 mm gun with problems of gun stucking.

You can keep believing such delusions.

Wow you are more thick than a tree trunk. If your Air Force has the highest crash rate in the world, your pilots suck, making your Air Force poor. Simple as.

but the thread is about indian air force and army and navy looking to aquire latest US UAVs and UCAVs after it got into MTCR

but since you dont have that kind of rappo and money to buy them you staryted changing the topic and tried to boast about your pilots and training forgeting that when you fighter is locked and withing range of a 90 degree HOBS WVR like python5 it doesnt really matters

and now your trying to make fun of crashes in IAF and even in vietnamese or russian air force forgeting about air crashes in PAF i wonder what do you call that sick mentality :bad:
