New Delhi wants to establish itself as an economic power in the region. Such dreams can never be realised in an environment where Pakistan and India – two nuclear-armed nations – are in conflict.

India’s strategy has reflected negatively on its own image. Last year, Russian diplomat Zamir Kabulov praised the speech of foreign policy adviser Sartaj Aziz at the Heart of Asia Conference in Amritsar as “a friendly one” and cautioned the participants against indulging in a blame game over the critical issues of terrorism and peace in Afghanistan in which everyone has an important stake. Similarly, China and the US have opposed Modi’s stance against Pakistan.

Don't you Pakistani fools realise that your Politicians are taking the citizens for a ride, by selling and mortgaging your country piece by piece. Your current account deficit for the year 2016-17 was 8.2 Billion USD. Just for comparison, the CAD for India in the same period was only about twice your value whereas the GDP of India is about 10 times higher than Pakistan. Think on it, and act before it is too late.
Edit: Just read on DAWN that the current account deficit is expected to cross a staggering 12 billion usd, meanwhile you internet ponies can continue with their d@@k measurement contest. Sigh!

Can Pakistan be isolated?

Answer is definitely NO.

For the global community, Pakistan’s role against terrorism is vital as it is connected to the security situation in China, India, Middle East and Central Asia. The world also realises the importance of Pakistan for stabilisation and reconciliation in Afghanistan.

Economically, Pakistan is considered important for interconnecting Central Asia and South Asia as desired by the international community especially China, Russia and the US. Its sea and land routes can interconnect different regions of the world in the future as well; apart from the much-popular China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program – to interconnect Europe and the Middle East with Central Asia and South Asia – plans to make use of Pakistani ports.

Additionally, Pakistan’s role in South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, Economic Cooperation Organisation, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and other regional arrangements can never be overlooked. The stabilisation of South Asia region is essential for global connectivity, peace and development and no country in the world can afford to isolate Pakistan and further destabilise the region.

BTW why India or Indian current government want Pakistan to be isolated, it is the region and not individual countries which grows. A stable and prosperous Pakistan is ideal for India just as the current turmoil in Afghanistan is having a negative effect in Pakistan.

New Delhi’s botched approach failed to muster necessary support of international community for the purpose. Instead, increased number of visits of foreign leaders to Pakistan and Islamabad’s active participation in a number of developmental, security and peace initiative is a clear testimony that world fully acknowledged the geo-strategic importance of Pakistan. Chinese leadership hosted One Belt One Road (OBOR) Forum in Beijing, which received overwhelming response not only from countries of the region but also from across the globe.

The wide participation and endorsement of Chinese initiative by overwhelming majority of the world community is a guarantee of success of OBOR and CPEC and India is going to get nothing but frustration and embarrassment if it persists with its negative approach.

We hope that fool people of India would realize that their leadership is missing opportunities just because of anti-Pakistan rhetoric.
