Right ... Many Bdian's here want to adopt Arabic/Persian as their national language . Many are even ashamed of the Bengali -Hindu culture.

Bangladeshi members in PDF are not the best sample to generalize the whole population. Bangladesh is the epicenter of Bengali culture which is recognized by the whole world, try to visit the country during February and April (coinciding with the dates of International mother language day and 1st day of Bengali year) you'll get the real flavor of Bengali culture which is not visible anywhere else!
