India’s huge need for electricity is a problem for the planet

Had you read the thread, I have already cited figures.

India produces around 12-13 times the electricity produced by Pakistan, which has a population a sixth that of India.

So, India produces around twice per capita electricity than Pakistan.

The figure is NOT 20 or 30 or 40 times.

Also, I find that your language is rather rude, and perhaps you should just stick to point, and give facts, instead of trolling, and abusing and getting marred in the troll game.
Thanks for your concern.
But keel your suggestion to yourself.

80% of Load shedding has been cut since Nawaz Sharif assumed office. A couple hours a day doesnt hurt since everyone has UPS. When CPEC is done, we'll have massive electricty left over.
CPEC-Power-Generation-Projects-in-Pakistan.jpg
Damn, you are so thick. The UPS will not consume power while charging ? Wonder what happens when everybody has UPS and power comes back after 16 hours of outage ?

Statistic is wrong. More then 95% Indians have access to electricity. Only few people who live in remote unreachable areas have issues. Modi has target of providing electricity to everyone by 2019.

Washington Post should use brain. India has one billion mobile phone connection. How can there be 300 million people without electricity.

No. But about 200 million is right. Even I had 2 mobiles with 4 sims. It doesnt matter. But electricity. Vast tracks of North East, Jharkhand, Bihar, Eastern UP, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, CHattisgarh are without electricity.

Lol jali na, sach batana jali ki nahi jamke pichwade me.
Hehehe why are you running away from the topic buddy. Didn't you learn in family that not to mock the big brothers because they are experienced and developed in mind as well as mature.
Think before you talk.
First get the answers why your country always fairs in the top ten failed state list. We don't have shortage of electricity as proven by my fellow indians but can't say the same about Pakistan. First get polio free which includes only two failed states could entries which are Pakistan and afghanistan and then try to mock others. Such is your atomi kuwat.
I don't know why Pakistanis mock others when they are considered as failed state and embarrass them when others show them the mirror.
So get up.
Nope, not just get up from sitting but also from sleep and also would like to see Pakistan doing something worth while like having some achievement that van be cheered and had made Pakistan proud like we had after mars mission.
Tell me one think is there anything which you can cheer?
We always have something to cheer whether it is any satellite launch, economy business, growing Indian industry but can we talk the same about Pakistan?
So think and think and think and think.

Autoresponse again for you:-

This I guess proves India is emphatically not a failed state but is Mars India.

Where are the vast swathes of land without electrification as mentioned by a forumer. The only large expanses without lights are those to the West of the That desert and the North-east of the Himalayas

What are you on about the West of the Thar desert. Most of Pakistan is either desert or high mountain plateaux. Most of the population lives along the River Indus and the doabs in Punjab in addition to the GT road arc in the north. Those are so well lit up that you can almost trace the River Indus by the lights running from the north down south to the Arabian sea. Compare map of Indus below.

Dont worry, many of them fertilize the ground also. In 50 years, they will be the largest producers of organic fertilizers. :omghaha: They help the earth more than they hurt it.

DOnt worry buddy, you'll get your share just by the rivers which flow through. We'll keep you fertile too. Anyway you are illegitimate half brothers.

I think it should be rephrased or refined to become more correct statement e.g. "India is a problem for the planet".
But you guys are the trash of the earth. Land of the pure............ter.orists.......

This is no joke man, remember the 90s When Indians were poor and hungry and food demand/prices were low, then thanks for this thing called out sourcing when Indian (a portion of their population) started to eat three proper meals and you see food prices gone up. Now lets hope they keep fertilizing their land only and God forbid they have enough money to provide sanitary services to all Indian...the result....the Ocean of the world with stink, sea life as we know it now will cease to exists. So India is bad for the rest of the world.

You are absolutely right. What about you? Doesnt matter where you live, you breed like pig..s. If you are in Canada because their is a Canadian flag in your profile, you are the worst community. There is a building called abode of peace close to my place. Full of pigis. None of them have less then 5-6 kids. Totally dependent on social welfare system. Husbands, mostly cabbies make cash money, ripping the system. Doesnt matter where you go, look for alms everywhere. You will be getting the organic fertilizer for free too guys. Please no full. Watch Satluc changing the colour and u r all fertile

ohh i love putting some asses on fire, but this time i burned it so bad he couldn't even complete words.

Why are you crying man.
First get yourself polio free then you can talk about others. You know what is a pure shame to the country.
When it is among the remaining two countries in the world who are yet to free themselves from polio.
Yes, you are among them, the natural atomi supa powa.
Who can't even guarantee proper immunization to people so what can we think about food and shelter.

China is the largest producer of electricity on this planet by far, with sources spanning from oil, natural gas, nuclear, renewable, hydro to coal, etc. Among all sources, coal plays an important role now, such trend will continue in the future despite relative increase in other sources of energy.

CSS

Knowing coal's critical weight in the whole electricity portfolio, it's equally important for Chinese electricity producers to reduce greenhouse emission into the atmosphere. China has begun testing of various CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) solutions, and has built the world's first near-zero emissions coal-fueled power plant - the Huaneng Tianjin IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) Plant - since 2009 (operational since 2011).

The Tianjin IGCC plant is just the starter for nation-wide INDC (Intended Nationally Determined Contribution) program to use modern high efficiency low emission (HELE) coal-fired power generation and develop carbon capture and storage (CCS). The five-year plan is seeking to reduce all emissions from coal-fired power and other industrial uses, not just CO2 emissions but also SOx, NOx and other particulate matter. Steps are taken to close down smaller inefficient power stations and is building large HELE coal-fired power plants to meet electricity demand.

2015 World Coal To X Award to
Dr. Yang Yong from China

March 4, 2015

Dr. Yang Yong, Director of R&D Center and Deputy General Manager of Synfuels China, will receive the 2015 Award for his achievements in developing a new generation Fischer Tropsch process. Dr. Yang Yong has been instrumental in defining a new Fischer-Tropsch process which has been successfully operated in several demonstration plants in China.
Given the key role played by the reaction catalyst, Dr. Yang and his team developed an iron-based catalyst, for the production of which a plant is being constructed.

The Fischer Tropsch technology is the most frequently used process to convert gasified coal or natural gas into liquid fuels, namely fuel oil, gasoline and jet fuel. The World CTX Advisory Board a ppreciated how Dr. Yang’ scientific curiosity, technical skills and management talent led his team to reach these technological breakthroughs.

Dr. Yang has published more than 60 scientific articles and obtained 33 patents. He has been awarded the Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005, the National Energy Technology Progress Award by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association in 2010 and the Mao Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award in 2012. More details on Dr. Yang’s career at World CTX Award - World CTX
