India is a good case study for this. It all started with demonetization that took place in India in 2016. This incentivized people to start paying digitally instead of paying with cash. In 2016, a payment digitization experiment was being conducted in an Indian village. When this demonetization happened, this village was unaffected by it since cash wasn't being used over there. I learned about this from The Future of Payment Technologies course which is offered by the University of Michigan.

Economic collapse, food shortages, famine, global war all pre planned to make us weak and fight each other for resources. And in the end they will say the old system has failed and we need a new system - a great reset. They will bring a totalitarian technology based world government. You will be a given a social credit score. Cash currency will be replaced by digital currency. They implement chips in your body. Right to private property will be abolished. They will lock you in urban apartments. Rural areas will be depopulated in the name of climate change and nature protection. Robots and AI will replace the workers. Most people will be unemployed and will totally depend on the government for basic necessities ( Universal Basic Income). Unhealthy GMO crops, fake plant based meats,insect based food will be your diet. Just to give you a picture.

BTW, I distrust my money with computers and mobiles. Esp mobiles, since unlike computers, you never know what's going on in that thing. and I happen to use cheap-a*s chinese phone, since they have the same whatsapp as an iPhone.
I have never so much as used easy paisa on mobile and for internet banking, I use a linux live USB every time I log in.
