I don't think we can predict anything that far in future. India's population will stabilize at about 1.5-1.6 billion. I would be surprised if we don't run out of natural resources before 'overtaking US'.

The world is extracting more output (GDP) from every unit of natural resource than at any point of its history.

This trend will only accelerate as time goes by and will be helped along by "tech revolutions" esp for basic energy and transport along the way.

We have developed Nuclear weapon in compulsion. India advocated elemination of nuclear weapons for years. We will be last country to use or threat any other country of Nuclear weapon.

As did Pakistan, but reality is different from words. You don't look at a nation's stated intentions, you look at their capabilities.
