Of course he don't need.. he is not going to take decisions alone.. there will be a team for him... gun culture is common in pakistan... but it is not allowed in India... whomever carry weapons without permission... they are criminals...

Luckily for India, Our ministers need not know how to hold a gun to do their job. We have qualified and trained women and men to do that job. I would be more alarmed if he knew how to hold the Gun. Thankfully, his job duties are much different.

Minister not been able to hold a gun is fine, but their soldiers and men in uniform also can't hold a gun properly, can't fire and aim too, they are too big for their relatively short stature, maybe.

And their Pilots can't fly and maneuver fighter jets properly, a case in point was Abhinandun episode, yes they are good in ejecting from the jets at the slightest pretext.

I don't know why this happens in India...

I think this is because of the positive discrimination used in just about any Indian institution.

The quotas for SC/ST/OPC lets in the average to mediocre persons in even DRDO, Hindustan Aeronautics and even forces too. Was reading this caste divide is vastly practiced in Indian armed forces too...

Nothing positive about positive discrimination.

Anyways this is India's internal issues...till it involves Pakistan.
