India's neglected holy cows are producing toxic and contaminated milk because they eat garbage while wandering the streets unsupervised, according to lawyers for one of India's top milk-producing states.

Really...Cows ? didn't get anything else to bash Telegraph ?

.
It also means cows are now immune to toxics.

From the pictures it looks like White people care more for Cows than Indians do. :(

They are Vaishnavites. Anyways it is the British cows which are really toxic milk producers. The hump backed cows which are Indian and African breeds are the cows which produce A2 milk which is nutritious. The European, American, and Australian cows are flat backed and produce A1 milk which has A1 protein which is undigestable and creates lactose intolerance along with many other diseases.

Indian diaries by replacing all the Indian cows with foreign breeds just because they produce more milk have any way destroyed milk's nutritional values. While South America and other countries are slowly importing all African and Indian breeds for their dairies.

Pretty silly to club all of India's cows under one banner. The majority of India's cows are still found in our rural areas, where surroundings are cleaner compared to cities. Cows in major cities and towns do run the risk of harming themselves by ingesting plastics and toxic trash.

Had the opportunity to visit a Gaushala run by the Ramachandrapura Mutt in Hosanagara, Karnataka. Indigenous Cow breeds from all over the country are housed and nourished there. And boy, the cows there are pampered like children!:smitten:Found a link with a few pics.

We need to preserve indigenous breeds which unfortunately govt's are trying to send to slaughter houses by claiming they are not productive enough.
