India's cities are more polluted than China's

Indian pollution is largely due to burning of unhealthy stuff but not caused by heavy industrialization. Biological waste such as excessive burning of cow dung is a major contributor. In fact, according to IEA, bio-waste such as cow dung is a major source of energy in India.

Looks like there is a large room for both Nuclear & Renewable energy,good news is the new govt is ambitiously working towards increasing Renewable & Nuclear energy
