So what ever issues India have I would multiple by a factor of five for Pakistan

Just take a look at how dismally the Pakistanis run their economy and politics

Now that shoukd give you good idea of the Pakistani military both equipment and training and leadership and doctrine

On the contrary Pakistan has worked miracles with its limited budget

India has had unacceptable failures trying to reinvent the wheel before being forced to fall back onto foreign purchases

Its your thinking why indian fanboys fall into a pit of depression and self denial when Pakistan shocks your world when we come out with a SLCM or MIRV etc

Pakistan has worked with, trained with some of the top airforces for decades including flying superb aircraft like F16s and sabres being a western ally

PAF has more experience flying and fighting then the Chinese we have took on the indians, israelis and Soviets and come out on top

F16s are a platform we have over 30 years experience with
Our pilots know it like the back of their hands and we have all support staff and infrastructure in place to support it

F16s in any form we can induct and absorb very very quickly

Our two best 5th gen platform options j31 and TFX are 5 years away , 10 years for Turkish option

Its possible we could go the JF17 route with J31s ie induct early and learn to fly, create combat doctrines as the plane matures

But we are gradually improving the JF17S and they will replace many of our legacy fighters and the block 2s and 3s are potent

F16s even second hand ones gives us quick cheap boost on a platform we know well
