RIM is developing a software for Blackberry called QNX. It is the same software you will find on a fighter jet!!

the upcoming os 2 will have features from the qnx

I know something that costs $0.15 and is much better for learning. It's called a pencil and paper.

When is India going to stop these stupid gimmicks and actually get to work teaching your "demogrphic dividend" something, anything ???

agreed, pencil and paper is still the way to go, technology should be slowly introduced into the classroom, not suddenly, and anyone can use a pencil and paper.

I don't think i have used a pen, pencil or paper other then writing an exam and that was a few months ago. I only use papers for printing. I even take notes using playbook in the classroom using a very compact usb keyboard.

How do you introduce it slowly to classroom which already uses pencil and paper?
Many teachers are in villages semi-trained and cannot hold interest of their pupils.
I can only hope that availability of suitable local language software will make teaching/studying interesting.
Remember most of Indian students study in their local language(I did too)

I come from a backward area in India, and availability of books in a local library really broadened my horizon.
Now a days with internet, a kid from rural India should have same access to knowledge as a kid from city.

Same here, i use technology. i have hardly seen anyone using a pen, penci, paper in my University. Almost everyone use computers, tablets, etc...

However, i would encourage using pen/pencil cuz when you write exams, you have to use that in a specific given time.
