Don't show those pictures because Depression is close to me, but suicide hasn't been. I can't afford to think of these concrete marvels being the cause of desertification, food and water shortage that has hit China. That will lead me to suicide worrying about the sorrows in the world.

Indians are depressed because they have High Goals and High Expectation.

That doesn't make sense.

For example, Chinese women are some of the most ambitious on Earth.

More than half the world's richest self-made women are Chinese.

Indians are usually depressed because they keep pushing their goal further & further and as they creep towards that, they achieve short term goals, but they are not satisfied as their long term goal may still evade them. Basic reason is Indians of recent generations are much more ambitious than the Indians about 50 years ago...

We should not compare the Chinese people with anyone.

After what they have gone through, they cannot be depressed.

It is only going up and up by the day!

No, honest.

I really appreciate the progress of China, and used to hope that India follows suit; but when these issues come up, I wonder if the cost of progress is that great.

We were happy when we had less. Now we have much more than before and we are still not happy.

Depression has nothing to do with Economy, Wealth and Development.

For example : Bhutan people are very happy. I always wondered How ?? They don't even have modern technology or High GDP or anything to cheer about. 98% Products are "made in India". But They are very happy People.

India is a Democratic country where all News specially Negative news hit the Screen 1st.

First allow your Media to publish all happening in China, then we will compare. China is unique country. No one can compare with Visible and Hidden Objects.

China is below in nation failing with India. why ?? Why China is Below India ?? When Western media post action in Xinjiang and Tibet you Avoid/Ignore the News and you also don't allow to post such incident happening regularly.

I live in Hong Kong, we rank as #2 best in Asia on the "Press Freedom Index".

India meanwhile, does not even rank in the top 100.
