Indian version of the 1962 Sino-India war

Kashmir - population doesn't want to accede to India but ruler does, India says ruler decides and invades. We all know what happened from there.

Hyderabad - ruler wants to accede to Pakistan, India says too bad, people decide and invades.

Manipur - neither Ruler nor people want to accede to India. India says screw this and "pressures" aka forces the Maharaja into signing the accession without consent of the elected assembly. Assam Rifles invade Manipur. Insurgency breaks out and Assam rifles are accused of many human rights abuses including rape but have impunity due to the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA)

Khamba Tibetans and Qinghai Tibetans and the Panchen Lama did not oppose Chinese rule. The later revolt in Qinghai in 1959 had to do with land collectivization and not the Dalai Lama.

Do you know how old was Panchen lama at that time and you claim that he sent a telegram to libertae tibet.

Yeah, he sent a telegram to the Republic of China to liberate Tibet from the Dalai Lama, who had seized the traditional properties of the Panchen Lama and wasn't allowing him back into Tibet. Both the adult 9th Panchen Lama and the 10th Panchen Lama (the child you are talking about) were pro China.

Really 9th pancen lama died in 37 and 10 panchem lama was a kid whom you gave position in CCP and later humiliated and put him in prison when he was critical of the atrocities commited in tibet.

The 9th Panchen Lama joined the Republic of China government, which proclaimed that Tibet was a part of China. The 10th Panchen Lama also sided with the ROC and he defectd to the communists only when the ROC lost the civil war and moved to Taiwan. He never sided with the Dalai Lama and opposed the "government" in Lhasa. He supported the Republic of China, I'm not going to bother explaining this to you if you don't know about the Chinese civil war.

It’s a war they don’t tell you about, it’s a war that we wish never happened, and half a century later it is even easier simply not to talk about it,to walk carefully around it, shroud it.Lock it away like it was some receding bad dream. and yet, it remains embedded like a terrible festering scar on a young nation.
Independent, India was tender 15 years old when it was humiliatingly crushed by a far more focus far more relentless adversary,China.
For a world that watched Delhi and Peking, two big promising new nations grew closer and consolidate a blossoming friendship in 1950s,the war as a terrifying subversion.
As newly established republics in 1940s,India and China had a healthy and mutual imports toward each other,,even India’s classified official history of the 1960’s war says this was for the historical ,political geographical, cultural and sentimental reasons. The diplomatic affection between the two countries became a undeniable template for a world that was recovering after two destructive wars and decades of colonialism.
In 1951 India refused to attend a conference in San Fransico, where peace treaty was to be signed by Japan simply because China was not invited.China and its premier Zhou Enlai was considered undoubtable in the new world order.

Most Indians know that we started the 1962.

No - India did not start the war - the fact is while Nehru was shouting from the roof "Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai" and signed Panchsheel in 1954, China was quitely backstabbing that fool and India violating the first principle of the Panchsheel laying out roads in Akshai Chin which was a disputed area which was discovered by India only in 1958 - So India did not start the war - the mistrust was sowed by China starting with the backstabbing of India. It is a different story that Akshai Chin should belong to China(my personal view) but the way China approached the dispute is despicable.

India set up 40 something military posts north of Mcmahon Line, you don't deny that fact,do you? and why would China like to have a war at that time.we were in the middle of the worst famine in human history, just had a big fall out with Russia and US and Taiwan were both at reclaiming the mainland China,China was surrounded by bitter enemies and why China needed another one?it's not logical.India,on the other hand, sensed China's weakness and wanted to exploit it and backstabbed China when China was at its weakest.

Oh we are despicable?

Who started the foward policy pal? Yea that right, it was Nehru.

Don't try to deny something you know damn well was the fault of the Indian government's forward policy.

If there was no forward policy, we wouldn't give two hoots about India. Our policy was to repel the Indian forward policy.
