Srinagar, June 07 (KMS): In Indian occupied Kashmir, Indian forces’ personnel used brute force on protesters including students in Pampore and Pulwama areas.

Hundreds of students of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora in Pulwama started marching on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway against the killing of a 12th class student Aadil Farooq Magray by Indian troops in Shopian. The students who were raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans were intercepted by a large contingent of Indian paramilitary and police personnel on the highway and after they resisted, the forces used teargas shells to disperse them.

The students of Government Degree College, Handwara, took to streets and staged massive protests against the killing of Adil Farooq. Indian forces used brute force and fired teargas shells on the protesting students, who were raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans in Handwara.

Indian forces’ personnel also fired teargas shells and pellets on the people who were protesting at Pulwama town, Namblabal, Khrew and Pampore against killing of youth. Local told media that clashes between protesters and Indian forces were going on when reports last came in.
