This is second ceasefire violation by Indian forces during last 24 hours.

MUZAFFARABAD (Web Desk) – In another ceasefire violation along the Line of Control, Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Bhattal sector on Monday night, Dunya News reported.

“Indian troops fired small arms and launched mortars, which prompted Pakistani troops to respond effectively,” ISPR spokesman said. “No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far.”

This is second ceasefire violation by Indian forces during last 24 hours, the military official said.

He further said that Pakistan has lodged a protest with Indian authorities.

This was the third ceasefire violation in the last three weeks. Indian troops had first violated the ceasefire on April 25 by firing with small arms and mortars on Pakistani posts in Poonch sector along the LoC, breaking almost three months of calm in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir.

There was no death, injury or damage during the clash.

In December last year, Pakistan and India had pledged to uphold the 2003 LoC ceasefire accord which had been left in tatters by repeated violations that year.

The directors general of military operations (DGMOs) of the two countries had agreed to a number of steps to keep the ceasefire accord intact.

The meeting had taken place on the initiative of the political leadership of the two countries for ending tensions along the LoC.

The nuclear-armed rivals have fought three wars since 1947, two of them over Kashmir. Both control a part of the Muslim-majority region but claim it in full.

Nothing good can be expected from hindis.

indians will remain indians. This is the signal of the things to come under modi with their assets being thrashed in NW now they will resort to this to get our attention in hope to divert our operations in NW.

Nothing good can be expected from hindis.
Nothing can be expected from the other side trying their best to infiltrate LeT yahoos into Indian territory by providing them covering fire.

It is not Indian troops resorting to unprovoked firing but the PA for reason mentioned above The IA is just responding and giving them a befitting reply.

The IA has no reasons to open fire. The PA has.

How innocent Pakistanis are !! :D
Yep! They're lily white. Pakistan can do no wrong! It's only those evil Yindoo banyas who need to be put to the sword! :sniper:
