Your brilliant government doesn't realise any figures, neither do they allow journalists to investigate it. So you can hardly complain about others using figures that are available.

Indian Army is not involved in law enforcement. It is not deployed in cities. All the law enforcement done in Kashmir is by local police and CRPF. That is not Army's job.

Also, Indian Army has less than 200k troops deployed in the entire state of Kashmir. This 700k and 1 million number is propaganda. Our logistics are not that good enough yet to feed, clothe and shelter 1 million soldiers. That would be a big challenge, and very expensive to maintain such extensive supply lines. Anyways, 200k soldiers are more than enough to defend the state from foreign aggression.

You've never really disproved that theory, in 1971 when the East contingent surrendered they were outnumbered 13:1 as per your own Sam Maneckshaw. You've never managed to win any of the other wars.

Rashtriya Rifles is a special anti-insurgency unit, which is classified as paramilitary. They are a separate branch, not under the command of Army COAS, but under the Ministry of Defence. They are not used for law & order situations either, but deployed for counter-insurgency operations.

We did win other wars. We took 1/3 of Kashmir from you in 1947, crippled your advance in 1965, took point 5353 in Kargil, etc.

I just did, other than 1971 we've won all wars with Hindustan (1947, 1965 and 1999), unless you count the Siachen conflict as a war (in which case, the score becomes 3-2 in our favour).

And we can go a little further back to when Muslims were completely crippling Hindustan for a thousand years, despite being a minority in the region for a huge period of time (outnumbered far more than 10:1).
