Yes akshardham is best because temple is not only about the size and shape but the beautiful aesthetics and sculptures it carries. Nothing can come close to Akshardham. Even though people have money; they can not build Akshardham like temple.

Some of the designs of Indian temples are amazing. I have visited one or two temples in UK and was thoroughly impressed with the architecture of such buildings

Been to countless churches too and surely there are very few rivals to Vatican city's St Peter's Basilica

IF you have seen Swaminarayan Temples, They are made by us with our money. I mean we Gujaratis by us. The headquarter of that sect is 10 KM away from town and people gives donations which are unbelievable.

And given that Hindusim is a way life, it gives you freedom to make choices. And your choices define the karma and dharma for you. Unless you bring in the equilibrium or positive balance of karma/dharma , the sufferings will not end and your religious goals will not be achieved.

what social practice is religion?
Jihad and terrorism comparision is like comparing apple and oranges.
I do understand and respect other's belief but a way of life is at best a code of conduct,how one can live an entire life,our responsibilities as an individual to the society ,family ,as son/daughter,as a wife /husband,as father /mother ,as an employee/employer ,as a ruler etc.

My friend, if you have never encountered extra-ordinary situations, you can not know what it is to have belief. I have been blessed and my belief in God is unshakable. True belief lies beyond logic and only the lucky get to know that.

My reference to logic was in opposition to disrespect. It is illogical to disrespect other people's religions because they do the same to you. This is standard Islamic position as taught by our Prophet. He commanded Muslims not to disrespect deities and gods of other people so that they may not dis-respect Allah, the monotheistic God.

Of course atheists are free from issues of respect or disrespect, because they have no belief in a higher being. For them using curse words like "shit" are OK to describe religion. I have often come across atheists who describe religion as the greatest curse, without realizing how much people have been killed in the name of Nationalism.
