What is your belief about the Apocolypse and what will happen on that day according to your religion Hinduism.
If I may add, there is no difference between the three. In fact when it's time for creation God becomes Brahma, for Preservation God becomes Vishnu and when it it's time to destroy and recreate God becomes Shiva.Hindu Mythology says we live in a world which experienced destruction and rebirth many times. There will be a cataclysmic event called pralaya after the end of four yugas(approx. 4.32 million years) and our earth as we know it is destroyed and all life form is wiped out.
Time is not Linear in hindu thought, it doesn't start and end at a particular event, rather, it is Cyclical and never-ending. This eternal cycle of Life and Death; Birth and Re-birth; Formation and Dissolution is called the Kaal-chakra or the Wheel of Time.
The trinity gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva represent this wheel of Time. Brahma for Creation, Vishnu is preserver, Shiva the destroyer.

Then, what will happen when every form of life is destroyed and the Earth is also destroyed?
