I've never heard of this punishment before, i.e. cutting the tongues of infidels. Is there any precedent?

Indian student brutally attacked in Germany


A 24-year Indian student in Bonn was brutally attacked by Islamic extremists who slashed his tongue when he refused to convert, German police said on Thursday.

The Indian student was attacked on Christmas eve when he was on the way to his place in Bonn.

The men enquired about his religion and asked him to convert to Islam, warning him that they would cut his tongue if he refused to do so, Der Spiegel reported.

The student, who was not identified, told the police that he was attacked by two men from behind after he ignored them.

The attackers beat him up and slashed his tongue and flew in a car.

Police spokesman did not give details of injuries but said the information that the victim gave was credible.

A passerby found the bleeding student on the road and called an ambulance. The student was admitted to a local hospital and was released a day later.

SPECULATIVE .. thread there is no confirmation that people were muslims , could have been KKK inspired clans man attacking Indian guy , and hit and run

Germany does have a population of "KKK" inspired underground groups

In Russia for example they run around seeking colored people in subways or markets and 4-5 people suddenly gang up and beat the guy and then run ..

1. The victim said the attackers asked him his religion and asked him to convert to Islam.

2. The attackers had beards with no mustache. (classic Islamist look)

Who knows - maybe he is the same guy who did this as he has prior experience of concealing himself as a Kazakh journalist and has done reallife interactions with people. Can't discount him as a suspect - can we?

Now people are doing wrong profiling and absurd generalization. Add to that various alternate theories are also coming into picture. I think we should wait for the investigation to be concluded or a significant and more detailed announcement is made by German police. But again I think, that will be termed as cover up by German police by few posters.

Hence I think only conclusion one can have is believe in your own story and don't try to make others understand as nobody wants to.
