People here under-estimate R&AW and in west, experts talk about the lethality and less talked dangerous spy agency of India. Compare it with other other intelligence agency. 9/11, CIA failure, Iran's nuclear program, Mossad's failure, TTP and BLA, ISI's failure....

What more can you expect from an agency which cut off one nation after independence and avoided being an enemy on both sides , an enemy with nuclear weapons.

I really like when people under estimate R&AW, it will be gross under-estimating its capability's. Just look at what it is doing in Afghanistan.

Never under-estimate your enemy, this is what I tell Indians about JF-17, J-10B, their sub program, missiles, tanks are concerned. Not acknowledging their capability will be disastrous for India. We might be caught in surprise.

Hope for the best, PREPARE FOR THE WORST.

I read some times earlier that (direct interview of ex head of RAW)RAW doesn't recruit minorities(I will not name it directly but these minorities lean towards foreign countries in religious matters) in their agent cadre because of fear,fear of double cross. And this thread says they were Muslim too. That is contradicting.

Good post apart of where you mentioned TTP and BLA as ISI failure. Not onl ISI handled them with appropriate means but also contained them to a great deal. Remember Swat/ Malakand operation? Thats called success, same is the case with BLA which is being tackled and are considered to be a less threat than TTP.
