Indian sponsered RAW terrorists Attack: 4 personnel martyred in attack in Loralai

Very very sad news at the start of the new year. Rest In Peace.

4 soldiers martyred is alot. Seriously raise questions on training. These kind of mistakes should not be tolerated.

Here's the official version. Apparently the attack was on FC training centre and not on any intelligence compound.

Is it your soldiers are not trained well or is it the enemy which is powerful every month you are losing men

Same can be said about Indian Army in occupied Kashmir. But lets not go off tangent. It was an attack on residential compound but the attack was thwarted at the main entrance before they could even enter. The enemy is non the less powerful, which gets regular training in Afghanistan and receive medical and financial aid from other enemy states.

It was a surprise assault on a paramilitary outfit, so they picked a softer target. With all things considered they still did well against heavily armed suicide attackers. I can give you many examples where such attacks have caused casualties among US, UK, Israeli and Russian forces.
The army isn't losing men each month, it's just this assault was close to roadside bomb attack in Baluchistan.

This is why T129s are so important

They won't be much help in cases like this. It's like trying to kill a fly with artillery. This is close up fighting, where the enemy hides in buildings and move by themselves, or two man teams. The possibility of friendly fire is too great, especially with Pakistani troops engaging them.
The T-219's will come into their own against saturation assaults on border posts, where the weapons operator has clear lines of fire and can engage without much caution.

Four security personnel were martyred during an exchange of fire with terrorists trying to storm the residential and administration compound inside a Frontier Corps (FC) training centre in Balochistan's Loralai district on Tuesday, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said.

Also, four terrorists were killed in the clearance operation undertaken by security forces following the attack.

According to the ISPR, the security personnel challenged the terrorists at the entry point of the "residential/administration compound of the training centre" and foiled their attempt to enter the facility.

Having failed to enter the residential compound, the terrorists reportedly opened indiscriminate fire and entered a compound adjacent to the checkpost which was immediately cordoned off by security forces.

The exchange of fire at the checkpost left four security personnel martyred and two others injured.

An operation was launched to neutralise the terrorists inside the compound and the four militants were subsequently shot dead. One of the attackers was a suicide bomber who blew himself up during the final stage of the clearance operation, according to the military's media wing.

"The valiant and timely action of security forces denied entry of terrorists into [the] residential area which would have resulted into more number of casualties," read the ISPR statement.

The martyred security personnel were identified as Subedar Major Munawar, Havildar Iqbal Khan, Havildar Bilal and Sepoy Naqshab.

The incident comes nearly a fortnight after six security personnel were martyred and 14 others injured in a gun attack on an FC convoy in the southern Kech district.

Gunmen attack security base in Pakistan's Balochistan province

QUETTA, Pakistan (Reuters) - Gunmen attacked a security forces’ training base in the restive southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan on Tuesday, setting off a gunbattle in which at least four members of the security forces and four attackers were killed, officials said.

The attackers apparently intended to hit a residential compound at a training center of the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Loralai district but were challenged at the entrance, according to a statement from Inter Services Public Relations, the main military communications unit.

Four members of the security forces were killed and two wounded in an initial exchange of gunfire before the attackers were isolated in an adjacent compound. Four gunmen, including one who detonated a suicide vest, were subsequently killed.

“The valiant and timely action of security forces denied the terrorists entry into residential area which would have resulted in more casualties,” the ISPR statement said.

The attack, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, was the latest in Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest and poorest province which is at the center of the strategic China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) infrastructure development project.

The Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehrik-i Taliban Pakistan or TTP, which is separate from the Afghan Taliban, claimed responsibility.

Balochistan is rife with ethnic, sectarian and separatist insurgencies, and a number of militant groups, including the TTP and the Balochistan Liberation Army, operate in the province.

Discipline is desired in paramilitary outfits also. Discipline is brought from the command level and trickles down to troops. Soft target shouldn't mean a low alert level. 4 on 4 is disappointing, 0 on 4 is acceptable.

Neither !

its the commander (guard commander/sector commander/garrison security officer) who holds responsibility for positioning, rotating and training the guard deployed at multiple places within his area of responsibility. He should be made an example, his promotion affected and deployed on staff/admin duty till retirement.

Indian RAW sponsered terrorists in action again... but as always our army and ISI is always ready. May our brave soldiers rest in peace and people of Pakistan salute our army and ISI. Long live Pakistan, long live Pakistan Army and ISI.
