Indian Special Forces hunting down Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT)

In a major offensive Special Forces of Army today targeted Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector inflicting casualties on them and the attack led to the cancellation of weekly Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service.Sources said that para-commandos of the Army took positions near the LoC on a hill overlooking Chakoti-Muzaffarabad road in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) and targeted a Pakistani troop convoy early in the morning.

Sources said that there were three vehicles in the convoy on Chakoti Muzaffarabad road and they were targeted by the para commandos inflicting casualties on them. They said that the attack led to the killing of two Pakistani troops and injuries to at least four of them. They said that it was a pre-emptive move by the Army as Pakistani troops have been attempting Border Action Team (BAT) strikes in the area besides infiltrating militants.

Earlier, last week Army said that they killed two members of the BAT strike team in the area. However, sources said that those killed were Pakistani guides who were facilitating infiltration of a group of six militants. When challenged the militants fled back to Azad Kashmir and the two guides were killed.

The attack on Pakistani troops led to the cancellation of weekly Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service. The bus left Srinagar early in the morning with 14 passengers of Azad Kashmir, who were returning home and 4 passengers from Kashmir, who were on their way to visit relatives.

The bus reached Aman Setu in the morning and the passengers were waiting for cross over but the Pakistani troops refused to open the gate. The passengers were waiting at the LoC for cross over till evening but had to return to Srinagar later.

Army for last few months has taken offensive posture along the LoC to prevent infiltration of militants into Kashmir. They killed 19 militants along the LoC this year with 11 in Uri and Rampur sectors only. However, as per the Multi Agency Centre (MAC) figures, 19 militants sneaked into Kashmir this year.

The entire LoC in Kashmir is tense after increased attempts of infiltration. Army said that 250 militants are waiting on the launch pads along the LoC for infiltration but Army has intensified vigil and patrolling to prevent their cross over.

In the meantime, an Army jawan of 17 JAT Nitin Kumar was killed when he stepped on a mine in Mike post area of Uri this morning. The jawan was on regular patrol when the incident took place.

Srinagar: Amid tensions between India and Pakistan, travel and trade across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir has come to a halt because of the Pakistani side, officials said here on Tuesday.

Since Monday, neither could the people travel to Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) nor could the trucks carrying commodities cross over, said the officials.

“There has been no response from the Pakistani side for two days now and as such the cross-LoC travel and trade has been halted,” an official said.

On Monday, 14 passengers were scheduled to travel to Azad Kashmir on the cross-LoC bus but they had to return from the Kaman Post, the last point on the Indian side of the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route, the officials said.

This happened because the Pakistani authorities, who were to confirm the cross-over, did not respond to the Indian communication, they said.


Similarly, 50 trucks, which were scheduled to cross on Tuesday, had to return for the same reasons, the officials said. They said Pakistan had given no information regarding this.

Trade and travel across the LoC through the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route had started in 2005. The halting of the trade and travel comes amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan. PTI

Of course a complete fabrication unless confirmed by ISPR like their claim of India attacking UN observers that was categorically rejected by the UN, or the quick renaming of nowshera sector to Mangla sector where a pakistani Hindu soldier was killed on the 17th, but never made it to ISPR briefing

That hindu soldier was killed in Waziristan and not some mangla sector.

As for Hindu soldier, there wouldn't be a better tributary that a Pakistani Hindu died fighting Indians but sadly he died in Waziristan fighting another scum and there's a whole video of his funeral attended by his unit and commander.

Yea fan boy, both air forces fly within own airspace however it's another thing, your MKIs leave the area whenever PAF appears, and before you mischief yourself with all the fancy terms, better first have the ability to know your own land and location so next time you know where a certain aircraft crashed.

What capability you are talking about?

Firing on civilians to black mail Pakistan? since they don't fire on civilians in retaliation but they have other option, last time they bring back some heads.

Beware of war since there will be no winner in nuclear exchange, Modi and I.A planners wants limited war for different reasons.
I.A want limited for so that under the umbrella of war they kill majority of Pro-Liberation Kashmiris.
And Modi want a limited war wit Pakistan for his next elections.
