Indian soldiers are getting desperate specially those deployed in Kashmir and these kind of things will increase if they kept fighting Kashmiris these kind of incidents will only increase @AUz @OrionHunter

The militancy has little or nothing to do with fragging. There are many reasons. Among them are family problems, land disputes, administrative problems etc. As a result when leave is not sanctioned to the individual to sort out his problems back home he could take this extreme step due to frustration.

A few years back a jawan shot himself and injured another in a peace location just because he suspected the fidelity of his wife! And the poor commanding officer got sacked for no fault of his. You see it's all about the circumstances which effect the psyche of an individual.

So equating these incidents with deployment in Kashmir is incorrect.

Secondly, the Army isn't fighting the Kashmiris, but fighting the sponsored terrorists infiltrated from across the border - the LeT/JeM in particular.

Indeed indian soldiers 'lack moral force','will to fight'.PA soldiers are no doubt far superior in this respect.Ur not the first professional to make such an observation.The chief of pakistan's army ayub khan made a similar observation in 65.''Hindu morale will not stand a couple of hard blows at the right time and place'-and then got his asal uttar at khem karan.Don't abuse ur professional tag by generalizing a whole army , taking bits and pieces terms from clausewitz.
