dumb chap, Turkish doesnt mean Antalya(Turkey) , it implies Turkic people of Central Asia. Geography of Pakistan is on the borderline of Central Asia and South Asia. Due to proximity People of Pakistan have genetic ,cultural,linguistic and religious overlap with Central Asian people who invaded subcontinent.

History is about people and their culture. Not land. When you are identifying with Arabs, Turkish and Persian just because you have today a same religion/culture, then it's my prerogative to adopt Porus or any other Hindu king as ours because he belonged to the same Hindu/Indian culture.

Central Asians were not muslim at one point, yet they have been migrating to the rivers of present day Pakistan for thousands of years, even before the Indus valley civilization was there.. way before the invaders from the same lot stepped into Delhi, so there you go ,the invaders were not Alien to us.

Once a Turk here told me Pakistanis are Turkic people who have lost their Turk heritage/language.He is partially correct, we have retained that heritage to some extent and people pf Kashmir and Potohar actually have Turkish roots as well.however since Pakistan is a very diverse country we never chose Turk as our identity.All the Arab loan words and many persian words in Urdu came from Turkic language.Being Turk has got little to do with Turk blood and more with the heritage and language otherwise GokTurks would be the only real Turks that actually existed.
