I think after China's exposure to PAF, even if it didn't help much in actual monetary or material gain, the knowledge gained in operational readiness, air combat tactics, and also fast-tracking aircraft development by focusing on key features and having a baseline of capability to reach, has left them thirsting for more insight from more experienced air arms.

And also just the general lack of experience with aircraft carriers and the benefits of knowing how your enemy operates.

First understand one thing. The Chinese navy and air force confront the US navy and air force in the South China Sea and the East China Sea every day. Every Day!

China let the British come to China. Just let them simulate the "blue army". Conduct simulated confrontation!

Why only south Asians talk in this brainless pattern,is it an issue with lQ? nobody's hiring foreign pilots to train their own here,this is not like hiring professors in college.Practice of hiring adversaries pilots is to get acquainted with the aviation tactics and capabilities of their nemesis. If anything China is hiring to test the secrets of western fighter jets ,their abilities and practices of foreign pilots. Hiring pilots of adversaries has been common practice since cold war era,some might have hired,or planning to hire Chinese pilots to know about j 20 s and chinese aviation.

Most of these countries being listed are part of NATO which has some of the most advanced tactics and experience in the world, they are not backwards in any capacity.
