Firstly, this water entitlement and land swap is not being "given" to us, it is our right. Next, this credit line, i would ask you to check out for what purpose this credit line is being given. This credit line is being given to us to construct roads which India will use, and 80% of the materials will have to be bought from India, and then we will have to pay back the loan with interest.
This deal is like saying i will give a loan to my friend so that he buys a car which i will use. This specific car will have to be bought from my car showroom, and then this loan must be paid back with interest. One hell of a deal dont you think?
And about this insurgency thing i ll just say this much, when AL comes India congratulates GoB for it's efforts to "curb" terrorism and insurgency, and when BNP comes suddenly Bangladesh becomes breeding grounds for terrorism and anti india activities. Do you honestly buy this?

Some Pakistani are saying let Pakistan become Bangladesh with good democracy & economic development, prosperity. Settle Disputes with neighbours and want peace.
While here some Bangladesh citizens want to turn Bangladesh into Pakistan that is militarily strong and bully its neighbour.

I think you are misunderstanding what we are saying here. There is no bullying in our book, our aim will always be to have peaceful relations with every nation around the world. But having peaceful relations does not mean we will be fighting with bamboo sticks right?
Similarly they are obligations for the neighbouring nation too.I think its time India must think of bumping of some BNP and jamaat leaders seriously

@malaymishra: As mujib43 said in his post India and Indians have an attitude problem with its neighbours. Pakistan and China are strong enough, but Nepal and Bhutan cannot protest. Bangladesh will keep on protesting and protecting its interest. About China, we find them quite docile, no big bragging. They come, bid in the national projects and win some of the projects. BD people do not go against them.
But, in case of Indians, they would come as if from a 1st world country to develop a 3rd world country like Bangladesh. But, I know some information. One water treatment plant construction has not yet been awarded to the lowest biddert, an Indian Company, because the Govt thinks its technology is poor and cannot perform the work according to the contract provisions.
India cannot expect love and affection by building dams across the border, by keeping our goods out of their country and trying all the mean ways to get a nod for transit by the GoB. When India respects BD, it will certainly be reciprocated.
About projects done by China, some are financed by China. But, most are not. However, Chinese will soon start construction of a fertilizer factory with daily output of 1750 ton in Fenchuganj. This project will be financed by China, BUT THE PRODUCTS WILL NOT BE TAKEN TO CHINA.
You see the difference with your TATA offer? They wanted to take the urea to India to develop India's agriculture. Indians are really hopeless. They try to find so many loopholes in our politicians and then try to enter through with sweet talks. SORRY!

Dude, you cant just support one political party and condemn another when it comes to international relations. India has been doing that and that is one of the prime reasons why India's foreign policy has failed in Bangladesh. And BNP and jamaat have other things to do than causing terrorism inside India. BNP leaders are known as "elitists" , and most of them are businessmen or have very good links with businessmen, they are more interested in making $$$.
And, you weren't even able to get a win in war on your own in 1971. Do not forget that!
