Indian Ocean becomes battleground for India and China

Is there any international agreement which prohibits selling of nuclear submarines?

The treaties prohibit the sale of nuclear submarines but do not object to a lease, provided the submarines are not equipped with nuclear weapons or missiles with a range of over 300 km.... Well I do not know what the treaties are But India was the first to find Loopholes In The treaty By Leasing Charlie-1 from Soviet Union...

Well, I dont think there is any international ban on sale of nuclear submarines but countries do not sell them since submarines employ extremely sensitive, dangerous and secretive technologies which are developed at a cost of billions of dollars.

Nuclear subamarines, armed to the teeth can wreck an entire continent.

How does it Differ if its Leased or Sold??

You take a nuclear submarine on lease for a certain no. of years, imany of its systems are stripped off, even INS Chakra that India is taking on lease will be armed only with Klub class cruise missiles (having range less than 300 kms).

Primarily intended to be used for training purposes, but it can also be used for defensive military postures should India decides to use it. Actually all depends on the agreement between India and Russia which will certainly not be revealed to the public.

And These Submarines were Built according to Indian needs In the Name of Lease, Lease will be Extended after the Period, Untill its Time to get Decommissioned we Give it back, It serves just like it is sold, Only thing it costs more, Do U think we cannot arm it with our own SLBM's Like Sagarika and K-4???

Depends on the agreement signed between the two countries, which will be never made public.

Infact, even if INS Chakra is armed with Indian SLBM's, it will never be revealed.

The Only thing is no Nuclear weapon must be sold and Nuclear Submarines can be leased although not many Countries Give it for Lease, and Even if INS Chakra is Armed with Indian SLBM it can be Let out because we Havnt bought the Missile but we have developed it here, But it cannot be Armed with a Missile of over 300 Km when its exchanged....
