Sub-launched harpoon will most definitely be a boon. The 1500s have provided exceptional service so far and there is much scope for re-lifing the platform. One wonders why the MoD never went in for more and capped production at 4 subs instead of the planned 6 considering that we own the IP/IR for the 1500s. By now the IN would have had a ready fleet of 6 subs ideal for an AIP upgrade.
