Notably absent is the requiement for a hangar and a helicopter. IMHO, you are looking at a replacement for the Khukri (early 1990s)/Kora (early 2000) classes. Kamorta has substantially greater manning levels than mentioned above. Or else Veer/Abhay replacement.
SSM > antiship missile
PDMS > self defence SAM e.g. previously Sea Sparrow, currently RAM or Barak1
Medium range gun > 76mm cannon
CIWS > AK630
VSHORADS > manpads, possibly (remote control) pedestal mounted
Veer and Khukri and Kora classes pretty much have this weapons fit, but for the PDMS (iirc the latter were initially to get Barak?)
Indian Navy puts out RfI for next-gen missile vessel - IHS Jane's 360
If that's the final number then it's Khukri/Kora replacements.
LIVEFIST: Indian Navy Wants 6 New Indian-built Missile Corvettes
Kora class is very new and capable by indian standards. It must be old Khukri class replacement.
The choice of AShm would be interesting since we don't have any suitable weight classed missile in production or development.
Both Kora/Khukri have helicopter landing spot.
