Indian navy is the only amongst Navy, Army and Air force that takes indigenization seriously and plans for future well in advance. We currently have 32 warships and submarines currently under construction in Indian Shipyards and navy plans to construct 56 more in coming 10 yrs including a 65000 ton aircraft carrier.

And they are reaping the benefits of it, fewer delays than ever, no confusion over design or logistics.
IAF has eventually opened its eyes as well, lets just wish for army too....

16 ASW shallow water crafts, 6 Project 75I submarines, 6 Next Generation Missile Vessels, 4 LHDs, 12 Minesweepers, 5 Project 17A stealth frigates,1? Project 15B destroyer, 2 Admiral Grigorovich frigates, etc,etc...
