Indian Navy Gets US Go-ahead to Deploy EMALS and AAG on its New Supercarrier

Is there or has there been any such precedent by the US?
Not to my knowledge
Most NATO members have received weapons directly.
In case US government agrees to share such critical cutting edge technologies, it will be a first.
But then again US Congress had duly noted India's spotless record of Non Proliferation during 123 agreement debate and stability of our democracy.
So apart from Britain and Israel, if ever US would want to work out such a close cooperation, it is India.

NATO’s purpose is to safeguard the freedom and security of its members through military means.
Such is not the case in India's case.

More, The nuclear strike codes belong to the US without whom any member state cant launch them.

Now.
There is also a 1-2-3 type Agreement with the US & China.
Does it mean that the US will supply the core to China?
Has it?
China is on its own Carrier version of nuke reactor which shall be ready within 5-6 years.

Least you forget, 1-2-3 agreement is strictly for peaceful nuclear co-operation & NOT military.

So?

. .
Dude,it is not a simple addition.
There is no linear relationship between the displacement and power.
Besides, the size of reactor has no linear relationship with the power of it too.
why r u wasting time with ignorant people here . Let them have a dream, dont break it.:rofl:

Today we are building the entire CBG at home, and you're claiming that we have to buy it in the future ?
I haven't watched any indigenous CBG of india yet.
All I know is indian postpone the schedule of its domestic carrier again and again.

There is a difference between the phrases 'building a CBG' & 'built an indigenous CV'. As for the latter I have never seen any indigenous Chinese CV.

It doesn't matter if it's built or building. Either way, it's not indigenous. The radars are imported, the missiles are imported, the planes are imported, the engines are imported, heck even the steel was supposed to be imported initially, but the Ruskies screwed up the order.

The radars are being indigenized, sonars are indigenously developed & the missiles are already indigenized. The engines will also be indigenized sooner or later.

Apparently, when it comes to the term "indigenous", you apply different standards towards Chinese and Indian. Even use different grammatical tenses in comparison, comparing current Chinese AC with future/planned Indian counterpart. India always wins in such a competition.

are being? will, would, could, shall, may, might, can.... I have been listening to Indian style future tense for the past 18 years.

Barak missiles are indigenous? Can you tell me which indigenous Sonar is used for IAC-1?

There is no point living in denial, it's in the frontpage. I heard they are still having problems starting up Arihant.

I am amazed to hear that you're 18 years old. Apparently the indigenization of the MF-STAR AESAs are already under implementation

Barak missiles are indigenous?

They are JV and will be produced locally. same with Brahmos.

Can you tell me which indigenous Sonar is used for IAC-1?

IAC 1 doesn't have a sonar sensor. It'll be on the destroyer/frigates which will escort the carrier.

Amazing India math. So if I started checking out Indian military at 20 years old for the past 18 years. How old would I be?

They are JV and will be produced locally. same with Brahmos.
Will? You said it is already indigenous! There is a big difference between will and is.

That's the point isn't it? This is what you said:

sonars are indigenously developed & the missiles are already indigenized. >
