What will be Indian strategy ... if USA and Iran engage in armed conflict.
In war, Iran's plans are to block Strait of Hormuz, if it happens in that case what India's reaction will be?

India is still Iran's ally. It will not close the strait to Indian shipping. If it does close the Strait to everyone, that will be a big mistake because many countries use the strait, including China, and Iran would lose any support it once had.
I am not sure about Iran will block the Strait of Hormuz for everyone or just specific to USA; but their intention is to block it.
But even if it for USA, how others could avoid the mines even if those mines for the blockade of USA; consequently everyone will stop the shipping thru Strait.

AT the end of the day, those Indian ships are safe because of Iran's inaction, not because of those Indian navy sailors on the ships or INdian navy ships nearby.
