As is the case both in Pakistan and India, people are too lazy to get the real picture and did not bother to check the right flag before posting it to their website. I remember something when the picture of PAF air chief was posted on one of the Indian website. No need to make a mountain hole out of a mole hole.

It could be a genuine mistake as well , but i won't be surprised if it was intentional. After all the Chief of this organisation did say once that Indians are scared to play us , what a hawk.

To be honest till now even i did not know for sure which color came on top and which one on the bottom.

I remember while doing homework I was supposed to paste the flags of all the SAARC countries on my notebook

I did the same mistake with Indian flag I pasted it upside down. I felt bad about it but from that day onwards I could tell the which side of Indian flag was up

Its difficult to put in words, but to draw an example, its similar to the pain Muslims across the world felt when a Danish person drew cartoons of the holy prophet or when a moron in USA, more recently made a 3rd rate movie.. Whether its your prophet or our flag, both are symbols held close to heart by many (some more than others) and any distortion leads to pain..

SAFFRON: the top layer - this color signifies COURAGE and SELFLESSNESS

WHITE: the middle layer - this color signifies PEACE and TRUTH.
