SRINAGAR – Kashmir Deputy Mufti Azam Nasir-Ul-Islam on Tuesday dropped a bombshell on Indian occupational government by saying that Muslims in the South Asian nation should get a separate country as they are bound to live in pathetic conditions.

“Muslims are being harassed in India in the name of love jihad, cow vigilantism and what not. The population of Muslims is second largest in India. Pakistan was formed with only 17 crore people. If the Muslims continue to suffer in India, then we will have to form a new country. The Muslim community should ask for a separate country,” Azam Nasir-Ul-Islam said at a press conference in Srinagar.

He further said that government is not paying heed to the problems of Muslim community and hence they should demand for a separate country, the Asian News Agency reported.

“Indian Muslims are living in a pathetic condition. Government is not listening to them. So what is the way out? Way out is to separate from India,” he told ANI.

Mufti Nasir ul Islam, who is also the Vice-chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Personal Board, was nominated by his father and Grand Mufti, Bashir-Ud-Din, as his successor for the coveted post in the Supreme Court of Islamic Shariat in 2012.

He is a post graduate in Arabic and also holds a degree in law. He remained the legal consultant with the Ministry of Justice, Government of Abu Dhabi, till 2006 when he resigned to start his own legal consultancy in Middle East.

He was appointed as the Deputy Mufti Azam at the Supreme Court of Islamic Shariat (J&K) in the year 2000.

Communal and religious divisions are widening in India, with minorities feeling they are not sufficiently protected. Nearly 80% of India’s population of 1.3 billion is Hindu, while Muslims make up 14.2%.

For the most part, the two communities have lived peacefully, but religious resentment has always simmered below the surface since 1947 when India and Pakistan were carved out of a single nation. The parting was bloody – between half a million and a million people were killed in religious violence.

The only way to do this is for systematic migration into muslim designated states. The Muslims need to carefully plan this as they shouldn't have an area that doesn't have access to sea or Pakistan/Bangladesh. These new states should connect to pakistan, Bangladesh or the sea. They also need to be careful of the Nazis in BJP who may wish partition type massacres.

Good to start a list going

a) Kashmiri want out
b) Sikh want out
c) South India wants out
d) Muslims in inner part want out

When they will find a good leader they will take whole of India and rule with justice like they did from last 1000 years in sha Allah .
Muslim in India are in dormant stage just passing time and let people see how Hindu fundamentalists rule and how they are treated .

But then Muslims already have a nation out of erstwhile british India in 1947. Pakistan should open it's arms, and welcome the Momin biradaran who are unsatisfied with India. Starting with grand mufti of Kashmir
You guys double crossed us and didn't fulfill your part of the bargain. Any way ;
e) Assam want out
f) Nagaland want out
g)jharkhan want out

Assam continues to remain as an unsettled issue, it should have been part of East Bengal !!

lolz.. actually every Indian wants out ... thats why we are largest immigrant population worldwide, beating the Chinese. Even Pakistanis are doing good on that list, going by the long lines at US/UK embassies in KHI/ISB.

Kindly enlighten us what part of bargain we didn't fulfill? Or were they ever promised to you in the first place, if any.

Core agreement was areas with majority Muslim populations would be part of Pakistan. That was the spirit of the agreement. Subtly Kashmir was left for later and to be decided by the Kashmiris themselves. But the local Hindu rajah made the illegal decision for the Kashmiri people causing decades of bloodshed and incessant war of independence by the Kashmiri freedom fighters.

You are ill-informed. There is subsection on Kashmir on this same forum and gold mine of knowledge. Go educate yourself first there.
