Muslims across the Indian Union are bracing for a huge campaign by Hinduvata Hinduist extremists. Many analysts believe that the terror attacks on Mumbai irregardless of the origins of the attackers. The Indian elections are around the corner. It would be to the benefit of the Hindu extremist parties. Mr. Modi hopes for an election victory with hopes for the Prime Minister’s office.The knee jerk reaction of the Indian media is to blame the neighbors. “Deccan Mujahideen” has never been heard of before and seems to be a made up name to malign Muslims–a favorite tactic of the Hinduvata extremsis

The big American chains all have hotels there, and there are many more distinctly American targets. The Taj and the Oberoi are owned by Indians. My guess is that there will be a lot of Indians involved, and that this will generate a lot of domestic outrage.

New Delhi has long accused Lashkar, and by extension Pakistan, of being behind the long-simmering unrest in Indian Kashmir, as well as being instigators of terror attacks inside India. Indian officials, however, conveniently ignore the serious economic, religious, political and social causes of Muslim discontent in Kashmir as well as in much of India, which is home to more than 150 million Muslims, roughly equivalent to the population of Pakistan. It was the height of irresponsibility of the Indian Foreign Minister to blame Pakistan and a person named Ghulam Rasul in the Samjhota Express blasts. It was later revealed that Hindu extremists who were part of the Indian Army used sophisticated “plastique” explosives to blow up the India-Paksitan peace train. The Indian Prime Minster was reluctant to blame local extremists, so he quickly pointed the fingers at the ephemeral ghosts “outside the country”. As expected, the Indian Prime Minister has pointed to a “foreign hand” a pointed finger at “Pakistan and or Bangladesh” which itself is a euphemism for Muslims and Islam. It is pedagogical to note the speed at which the fingers point towards Muslims in general and Bangladesh and Pakistan in particular. Hardly had the ink dried on the news story on the Samjhota Express when the fingers were pointed at Pakistan and Bangladesh. It turned out that the culprits who blew up a train going to Pakistan turned out to be members of the Indian Armed forces with links to the BJP, RSS, Mr. Advani and Mr. Modi.

Indians irrespective of being Hindu or Muslim are Indian first. There have been attempts in the past to create mistrust between Hindus and Muslims of India by placing bombs inside temples to incite hindus against muslims and bombs inside mosques to incite muslims against Hindus.
